Shop Locally for Appliances

We know, shopping for appliances can be exhausting. But when you shop at your local appliance store, you’ll get tailored recommendations for everything you need.

On top of excellent recommendations, shopping local means you have expert knowledge at your disposal. We’re talking pros who have been in the appliance business for decades. So, what are you waiting for?

Why We Love Appliance Packages

What’s not to love about appliance packages? Not a thing—who wouldn’t want a matching appliance set at a great value? Exactly—no one.

Take laundry sets for instance. A matched laundry pair not only looks great, with the coordinated finish, but the capacities are made to be compatible with the other. That means that there’s no worry of under-drying a load of laundry because the dryer’s capacity doesn’t match with the washer’s capacity.

Kitchen sets further expand on this idea. Not only do you create a sleek kitchen with matching appliances, but you also get similar features across your refrigerator, range, microwave, and dishwasher. Plus, with one kitchen appliance package, you save money and receive most of your major appliances in one swoop!

How to Measure for New Appliances

Measuring for your new appliances can be tricky, but we’ll help you get a fix on the basics.

Be sure to measure at least three times for every measurement and to write them all down with the appropriate labels so you know which number means what.

Some of Our Favorite Appliance Features

Appliances have come a long way since your grandma’s washboard and wood-burning stove—the features today are endless. With so many new features, it can be difficult to figure out which ones you think you’ll need, but we’ll guide you through some of our favorites. Who knows, they might become your favorites too!

Fingerprint-resistant Finishes

One of our favorite features is a fingerprint-resistant finish. Sometimes the constant handling of your appliances leaves them looking smudged, but with a fingerprint-resistant finish, not only will your appliance look newer for longer, but it’ll be easier to clean too! Check out black slate, slate, black stainless, or fingerprint-resistant stainless finishes.

Convection Baking

Convection has been around for a while but still can’t be beat. Convection uses a fan to circulate hot air in your oven cavity to produce quicker and more evenly cooked results. TrueConvection (or European Convection) further expands on this by adding a third heating element for even better results than regular convection, so your meals cook in half the time!

And, you can use convection to roast meats and veggies, bake pie and pastries, and of course to roll out batches of cookies!

Wi-Fi Connected Appliances

Smart appliances, or Wi-Fi-enabled appliances, are the shiny feature that everything seems to come with, from washers to ovens. But you find yourself thinking, do you really need it?

Need is of course subjective, however, the main benefits of appliances with a compatible smartphone app are maintenance alerts, energy usage visibility, remote access, and self-service troubleshooting. You can check on your laundry cycles (and turn on that anti-wrinkle tumble just one more time), see how much time is left on dinner or preheat your oven from miles away, and even check the contents of your fridge from the grocery store!
